Project Overview: Mell housing is a 50 house development outside Drogheda in County Louth, Ireland. The project incorporated 350m3 of underground stormwater attenuation utlising the innovative twin GRAF storm infiltration tunnels which provided double the retention capacity of the standard tunnel. Approximately 1500 tunnels were used in an offset design at a depth of 3.0m with a Hydrobrake flow control device managing the storm discharge rate.
